To use any of the benefits found within this Membership website, Member must be in good standing with all fees and payments current. The Global Connections, Inc. program is based on reserving available resort accommodations. Availability of these accommodations varies from time-to-time and is subject to change without notice. Members do not obtain any interests in, or recurring rights to use, any real estate or real property, and availability of accommodations and destinations at any given time is in no way guaranteed.
Travel services and/or accommodations booked through your membership are not for resale. Resale is a violation of your membership agreement and can result in termination of your agreement.
Credit card charges will appear on your statement as collected by Global Connections, Inc. or the major travel provider for your vacation. Global Connections, Inc. is not responsible for any and all applicable taxes, deposits and other expenses associated with travel such as airfare, for any Member's condominium, resort or hotel stay.
If any damage should occur while you are occupying a condominium or resort accommodation, you must notify Global Connections, Inc. or the resort immediately. You are responsible and will be held liable for any fees charged due to damage of property furnishings or the condo/resort. A $200 Security Deposit is required at time of condominium reservation by Global Connections, Inc. Some resorts may require additional security deposits, which must be paid by the Member.
Vacation Weeks are for an 8-day/7-night period with check-in days varying from Friday-to-Friday, Saturday-to-Saturday and sometimes Sunday-to-Sunday as specified by the resort, during Value Season. Upgrades to Peak Season may be available for an additional Fee or Star Credit. Yearly fluctuations can cause Value and Peak months to change from year to year. Refer to the Season Guide for your travel dates. All bookings are subject to availability and upgrades may not be available at all destinations.
Vacation Weeks are based on a standard studio or one-bedroom condominium generally accommodating two to four people respectively. When available, Members may upgrade to a two-bedroom accommodating up to six or three-bedroom accommodating up to eight people for Upgrade Fee(s) or Star Credit(s).
Occupancy limitations are set by the resort. Over-occupancy will result in an Upgrade Fee, eviction from the property and/or refusal of the party to check-in. Upgrades may not be available at all destinations.
All Vacation Weeks requests require one Star Credit plus a Processing Fee. Star Credits cannot be used to waive the Processing Fee. All condominium requests are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis, and are subject to availability. The size and type of accommodations, including amenities, and age restrictions vary from resort to resort and are not under the control of Global Connections, Inc. Furthermore, Global Connections cannot guarantee the view or the location of the condominium within a resort. Not all oceanfront properties have private beach access, nor do all units within an oceanfront property have an ocean view.
No more than two Vacation Weeks may be booked either concurrently or consecutively during Peak Season. You may book more than two weeks consecutively or concurrently during Value Season.
Once your requested accommodations are found, your Vacation Specialist will call you with the details and will require your acceptance or refusal within 24 hours. If you do not accept the accommodations offered within that time frame, the unit will automatically be released. If you refuse the unit your Vacation Specialist secured on your behalf, or if you do not respond within the 24-hour time frame, your accommodations will be lost and your Processing Fee will be forfeited.
Once confirmed, your reservation is noncancelable and nontransferable and all fees paid are nonrefundable.
Expressway Weeks availability are limited to what is found on the member's-only website. There is no warranty, express or implied, that accommodations will be available through the Expressway Weeks program at all times. Destinations are subject to change without notice and some areas and unit sizes have limited availability, especially during Peak Season and Holidays. Members cannot specify or request a unit size, destination or resort. Expressway Weeks cannot be held, and are confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Expressway Weeks cannot be gifted, transferred or resold. Usage is limited to two Expressways Weeks per year for Members and their immediate family (parents, brothers, sisters and children).
Star Credit(s) can be used to waive Upgrade Fee(s), if Star Credit(s) are available. Members cannot use Star Credit(s) to waive the Processing Fee. Whenever two or more fees apply, your Star Credit(s) will apply toward the higher fee(s) and you pay the lower fee(s).
Only the person on the condominium confirmation may check-in to the property. For any changes in occupancy, you must notify your Global Connections, Inc. Vacation Specialist prior to arriving at the resort.
Terms and Conditions of condominium use are supplied at time of reservation and on this website. Member and Member's guest(s) must abide by these whenever using a Global Connections, Inc. condominium or hotel accommodations.
The information provided in your printed Membership materials is valid as of the publication date. Global Connections, Inc. is not responsible for changes to resort areas, amenities, or policies regarding fees or procedures. The most up-to-date information can be found on this website.
If, due to unforeseen circumstances, your property becomes unavailable, Global Connections, Inc. reserves the right to relocate you to comparable accommodations. Global Connections, Inc. is not responsible for schedule changes, acts of war or acts of God.
Even though Global Connections, Inc. strives to maintain the accuracy of all information contained on this website and in your printed Membership guide, there are occasions when errors may have been made and the information may be changed without notice.
By use of travel services and/or accommodation(s) through your membership, you, the Member, expressly acknowledge, agree, release and forever discharge Global Connections, Inc. and their respective shareholders, officers, directors, members, employees, agents and/or representatives, from any and all liability, losses, obligations, allegations, complaints, suits, arbitrations, causes of action and/or claims whatsoever, in law or equity, known or unknown, which Member or any guest of Member may have or incur arising from any accident, incident, occurrence or event arising from or occurring during use of such travel services and/or accommodation(s).
Guests must call the reconfirmation number and make arrangements for late arrival 24 hours prior to check-in. It is your responsibility to verify all information on the confirmation is correct.
No pets are allowed. Violation of this policy will result in an automatic forfeiture of your security deposit, along with an additional cost for cleaning. You will be responsible for kenneling said pet and/or finding alternate reservations at your expense.
Only the person named on the confirmation may check-in to the resort. Any changes must be approved by Global Connections prior to travel. Name changes are subject to additional fees, payable by Guest.
Global Connections makes every effort to verify amenities at a resort. From time-to-time, these amenities may change without further notice from Global Connections. Resorts may assess fees for the use of amenities; Guest is responsible for payment of any such additional fees. Further, Global Connections is not responsible for any errors or omissions of resort or unit amenities on a confirmation.
Check-in times are determined by resort to allow for cleaning of unit prior to your arrival. Early arrival does not guarantee access to a unit before your stated check-in time. Check-in is typically after 4:00 p.m. but varies by resort.
Check-out times are determined by the resort. Late check-out will result in assessed fees against the security deposit as it results in a delay of cleaning unit for next guest. Check-out is typically 10:00 a.m. but varies by resort.
Your unit number is subject to change without notice. In rare instances it may be necessary to relocate you to a different resort due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to, maintenance issues, acts of God and sale of a condominium. Should this occur, every effort will be made to place you in a likewise unit.
Global Connections is not responsible for problems related to construction, building maintenance, inclement weather, normal wear and tear, nor acts of God.
All condominium reservations require a fully refundable $500 Security Deposit. Any missing items from the condo or damages caused by the Guest during their stay in the condo are the responsibility of the Guest and will be deducted from their Security Deposit. In the event the cost of missing items or damages exceeds the $500 deposit, the Guest is responsible to pay said monetary compensation in full. Security Deposits by credit card are only charged to cover the cost of missing items or damages.
You must present a copy of the confirmation and any attached paperwork upon arrival to the resort. It is Guest(s) responsibility to travel with the confirmation for necessary information, as it is illegal to provide check-in information over the telephone in some states. If you should encounter any problems at the time of check-in, you must notify Global Connections immediately. If you do not notify Global Connections at the time of check-in, Global Connections will not be held liable for delays or any rental fees you may incur.
Guests at a resort unit are prohibited from conducting themselves, or permitting the conduct of any other party, in a manner which is in anyway not responsible, careful, respectful or securing of a resort unit and/or its owner(s) and/or other guest(s). Said behavior may result in eviction. If such instance should occur, Global Connections is in no way responsible and refunds or relocations will not be offered.
Persons under 21 years of age are not entitled to the use of a Global Connections reservation or occupancy of a resort, unless accompanied by a person of at least 21 years of age. Some resorts impose higher age restrictions beyond Global Connections' control. If a guest is under the age of 21, it is the guest's responsibility to verify if check-in will be allowed. If guests are under the resort's age restriction, Global Connections is not responsible for relocating a guest, and the reservation remains nonrefundable.
All Global Connections condominiums are non-smoking. If Guest(s) are found smoking in the unit, the Guest(s) will forfeit their $500 security deposit.
Some resorts issue items, including but not limited to, unit keys, pool tags, pier passes and parking passes. If lost or destroyed, the Guest(s) will be responsible for the replacement value of said items.
The total number of people occupying a resort unit must not exceed the maximum occupancy of the unit set forth in the reservation confirmation; otherwise Global Connections, the resort and/or appropriate party may refuse access and/or levy an additional charge. Guest(s) agree(s) to pay for any such additionally levied charges.
Guest expressly agrees that they shall be liable, and bear all responsibility, for payment of any applicable taxes, personal expenses, utility charges, security deposits, damages, theft, losses and/or other charges of any and all entities and other parties, incurred in connection with Guest's travel to and from, and stays at, the confirmed resort unit. Further, Guest agrees that they and/or their assignees shall be responsible and liable for any and all damages, losses and/or theft caused, directly or indirectly, during their occupancy of, or while they have been afforded access to, a resort unit.
Most condominiums do not provide daily housekeeping service or towel exchange. All units are cleaned at check-in and check-out only. Most often, towels and linens are provided to accommodate the number of persons allowed to occupy the unit — no other towels/linens will be offered during your stay. Washers and dryers may be available on-site or within a unit to launder said towels and linens during the stay. Some resorts offer daily or mid-week housekeeping service for a fee, payable by Guest.
Most condominiums come with a starter-kit of supplies. Each kit varies by resort and most often includes one roll of toilet tissue per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, and one or two trash liners per trashcan. Some resorts may offer one-time-use dish and clothes detergent, coffee and tea supplies, snacks or water. Global Connections is not responsible for supplying a weeks' worth of said supplies.
At all hours, noise must be kept at a reasonably low level so as not to disturb other guests. Parties or large gatherings in the unit that disturbs the peace or comfort of the other guests or injures the reputation of Global Connections are strictly forbidden and may result in Guest(s) being asked to leave the property. If this occurs, Global Connections is not responsible for relocating Guest(s) and no monetary refunds will be offered.
Every effort will be made to find any personal items left in a resort unit by a Guest. If said items are located, they will be returned to Guest at the earliest possible time and at Guest's expense. Global Connections is not responsible for any items left that may not be found. Global Connections is not responsible for any theft occurring at a unit during your stay.
Every effort has been made to assure accuracy. Global Connections assumes no responsibility for errors, inaccuracies or omissions, including but not limited to, typos, amenity or unit listings, and check-in / check-out times.
All confirmations are final and are non-cancelable, non-changeable and non-refundable for any reason, including acts of God.
